Rum Baba Rum Baba – Let’s Dig Into This French Delight !!! In the month of January, while vacationing in Goa, had this amazing dessert called "Rum Baba" at a French restaurant. You may think it's same as Rum Balls. No there is no similarities in both desserts apart from one ingredient that is rum. Rum Baba or Baba Au Rum (French name) is a yeast cake soaked in syrup made with hard liquor, usually rum. It was served to us with whipped cream, strawberry and 30 ml white rum. Yesterday I tried to recreate this dessert with whatever I had in my pantry. Ya presentation of my dessert sucks but trust me it tastes exactly the same or shall I say better 😜. A bit lengthy process though.  So here we go... Ingredients: For baba: 1. Butter:                                                                                           9 tablespoons 2. Super simple Potato-Corn-Cheese Sandwiches for the breakfast today

Super super easy and very delicious Aloo Corn sandwiches for breakfast today. Recently I was making all typical Indian breakfasts like poha, partha, dosa etc. So today decided to make this simple yet easy sandwiches with boiled potatoes, corn, cucumber, onions and carrot. Turned out very yummy. Tummy was absolutely happy. Morning done right. 🤩

Ingredients:

Boiled Potatoes:            4-5 medium sized
Carrot:                             1 small sized
Cucumber:                      1 small sized
Onion:                              1 small sized
Sweet corn:                     1 bowl
Black pepper:                 1 spoon
Salt:                                  As per taste
Red chilli powder:         ½ spoon
Chat masala:                  ½ spoon
Cheese:                            7-8 cubes
Green Chutney:             As per taste
Butter:                             As per taste
Bread Slices:                  As per taste

Method:

1. Mash boiled potatoes. Keep aside.
2. Grate carrot. Finely chop onion and cucumber.
3. Blanch sweet corns and grate cheese.
4. In a bowl add all veggies, salt, black pepper, chat masala & little red chilli powder.
5. Mix well. Stuffing is ready.

6. Apply butter to bread slice.
7. Apply green chutney.
8. Apply stuffing evenly on the slice. Add cheese.
9. Cover it with another bread and grill the sandwich till cheese melts.

10. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.

Enjoy this yummytious but super easy breakfast. If you boil potatoes in advance, these sandwiches can be of a great option for your kiddo’s tiffin. I am sure it will get finished in no time.
