Mushroom Sandwiches |
Easy to make Mushroom Sandwiches
Today again mushrooms 🍄🍄. This super food is
full of nutrients. Very good source of protein and fibre. Also provides many
important vitamins and minerals including B vitamins, selenium, potassium,
copper, and (particularly when exposed to the sun) vitamin D. So today I made
mushroom cheese sandwiches to reap all these health benefits.
Ingredients:
1. Butter (or olive oil)
2. Finely chopped garlic
3. Medium sliced green chillies
4. Medium sliced mushrooms
5. Finely chopped onions
6. Soy sauce
7. Black pepper powder
8. Salt
9. Tomato ketchup
10. Bread slices
11. Pizza sauce
12. Mayo
13. Grated cheese
Method:
1. To make stuffing, in a heated pan add butter or olive oil.
2. Add finely chopped garlic and medium sliced green chills. Sauté
just for a minute.
3. Add finely chopped onions. Sauté again.
4. Add medium sliced mushrooms. Sauté little.
5. Now add soy sauce, black pepper powder and salt. Take care
while adding salt as we have already added soy sauce and black pepper powder.
6. Cook covered on a low flame. Let it get dry. Add little
bit of tomato ketchup. Stir well. Let it cool down.
7. Now on a bread slice apply butter, some pizza sauce and
some mayo. (You can avoid mayo if you don't like). Add mushroom stuffing. Add
lots of grated cheese and cover with another bread (butter applied) slice.
Press slightly.
8. On a griddle toast this sandwich till cheese melts. You
can use sandwich maker to grill the sandwich.
You can keep stuffing ready in refrigerator and make
sandwiches any time. (Though I prefer them fresh 😊) Also if you want you can use
whole wheat bread to make it healthier.
Finding out many ways to eat the same stuff is really challenging.
